Swarovski Crystallized Spring 2011 Collection

Swarovski is a store where women can purchase elegant, accent pieces. From earrings to necklaces to pendants to purses, Swarovski creates masterpieces that are classy, sexy and feminine with an edgy, glamour that style conscious women desire. For the Fall, Swarovski has introduced new lines from all over the world. These showstops are a must have. Reasonably priced at under $200, these items will make you love being a woman. It was hard but I selected some of my favorite, favorite pieces to share with you (I actually loved them all):

This Otazu bracelet is sleek and sexy; an attention grabber.

This Dannijo necklace with matching earrings is the perfect accessory for the strapless LBD. Dannijo marries Old Hollywood glamour with show stopping.

Who could resist these Gian Paolo Maria necklaces. Everyone will stop to admire your jewelry

And last, but not least, this Phillippe Ferrandis necklace. Wow!

I would encourage all ladies, and men, to stop by your local Swarovski store to admire, and purchase one, or more, of these works of art. Visit www.swarovski.com to shop online or find a store near you. You won’t be disappointed.

Superdry USA Spring 2011 Collection

Although it seems like the only thing coming out of the UK right now is all about the Royal Wedding, there are other British obsessions to occupy your time such as the UK fashion brand, Superdry. A premium line for men and women inspired by Japanese design influences with vintage Americana style. The Spring 2011 Collection features vintage inspired summer dresses and separates made from the super soft cottons and jerseys. Some looks from the collection include the Pierrot Blouse and the Vintage inspired Polka Dot Print Shorts below.

I’m a lover of all things vintage, so the looks from the Vintage Thrift Collection captured my heart. I love the delicate pleating detail on the very sweet Vintage Alexia Dress below

and can’t you just see the Japanese spirit fused with the vintage influence of this stylist Vintage Francesca Dress?

Luckily you dont have to travel to the UK to get your hands on any of the Superdry Collection, there are several retail locations throughout the US:

Ann Taylor’s New Flatiron District Concept Store

Ann Taylor’s highlights their to-die-for Spring 2011 collection at their new Flatiron District Concept Store located at 149 5th Avenue, near 21st Street. Designed by S. Russell Groves, the prestigious architect of such establishments as New York’s Scarpetta Restaurant and Frederic Fekkai salon, the Ann Taylor Concept Store feels more like an upscale boutique features a huge petite section in the back, a cashmere section, cocktail dresses, shoes, etc.

The store initiates a fresh direction for the brand, whose core values of beauty, style, and function hold a distinctive place in the American market. Strategically placed dynamic visuals throughout the store and a dramatic central “runway” of mannequins helped lead, inform, and excite customers, while an elegant palette of materials and colors created an overall atmosphere that is warm, feminine, and modern.

The Ann Taylor Spring Collection features bold modern looks, color-blocking and relaxed chic silhouettes. I love the use of vibrant Citrine to brighten up a neutral color, the feminine softness of their new color, Tulip and the classic combination of black and white. You must visit the Ann Taylor Concept Store to get yourself acquainted with the New Arrivals for spring.

While you’re at the new store, you must try out the interactive touch computer screen with access to the Ann Taylor website for customers.

TUSK Spring 2011 Women’s & Men’s Collections

On a cold winter night, I was transported to the exotic Bombay as I walked through the gorgeous men’s and women’s Spring Collection premiere from luxury handbag and accessories designer, TUSK. The beauty of TUSK is not just the chic styles but the exquisite textures of the skins. Every bag had my hand gravitating to touch, stroke – it almost got quite obscene for a while.

For Spring 2011, the collection pays homage to New York with a bohemian free spirit with an emphasis on independence. Along with Asian influences that are wondrously evident, the fine Italian leather goods come in rich, soft and spicy colors.

Sales from the event, held at TUSK’s Chelsea location benefited the Children’s Dental Care Center. Tusk Designer Michelle Chang, event host and Celebrity Dentist of www.glassmandentalcare.com, Dr. Debra Glassman along with Hiten Manseta, Creative Director and Owner of Tusk were a pleasure to meet.

Some of you might be thinking, hey, where are the mens bags, well here they are in all their butter soft glory. Although they are technically men’s bags, I doubt any woman, myself included, would not want to snap one of these beauties up.

Along with the gorgeous, we also enjoyed some amazing Indian cuisine that had everyone going back for seconds, some amazing Henna hand art and fab manicures courtesy of Nails by Incoco, www.incoco.com.

Ann Taylor Spring 2011 Preview

Although its difficult to think of Spring right now with the mounds of snow still on the ground and temperature highs no higher than 34 degrees – well with the exception of always wondering “how long until Spring gets here?” (I know that’s not just me), Spring will be here soon and with some of the wonderful looks we’ll be getting from Ann Taylor this Spring, the anticipation is even more urgent.

For early Spring, Ann Taylor features bold prints, rich textures and neutrals such as khaki and bronze with touches of black for a sophisticated introduction to the onset of Spring. Some of my favorite looks from this season are shown above – the top of my list being their new Utilitarian Trench Coat and the gorgeous Blurred Bronze Silk Sheath show in photos one and two.

A little bit of color makes its way into the collection a little later in the Spring season. The lines of these looks are more structured, cleaner but also feature delicate fabrics. Soft knits add feminine touches to modern suits making each look easy, relaxed and simply chic.

Bolder colors and nautical themes are what Ann Taylor is offering for late Spring. Lilac and Violet are prevalent throughout the collection and mixed with navy for all-American elegance. As you can see, there will be lots of stripes this season and lots of layering. You can also look forward to Spring Tweeds, relaxed dark denims and lighter suits which makes dressing down a bit more polished.

And in a wonderful turn, Ann Taylor showcased their Wedding & Events Collection; for the woman who as it was put, “wants to look and feel her best self…..with modern styles detailed with a Couturier’s touch”. The collection features beautiful and elegant dresses that look chic and effortless.

Lands End Spring/Summer 2011

I know it’s going to be very difficult to think of what you’ll be wearing during the warmer months (especially as it gets colder and colder here every day) but seeing the Spring/Summer collection for Lands End has certainly put me in a mind for a speedy winter. Now I am far from ready for the beach but the following swimsuits made me want to jump on the treadmill (after clearing the clothes hanging of it of course)

My favorites, both being two-pieces and are nautical themed

Now when I think of beachwear, I automatically think of beachbags and Lands End, widely known for their gorgeous totes, has some amazing bags that you’re definitely wear beyond the beach

If you’re like me, and are not beach ready, and want to remain a bit more clothed, you don’t have to worry because Lands End has some adorable summer dresses and must have separates that will easily take you from hot summer day to balmy summer nights

I love the vibrant colors, the softness of the lightweight cotton sweaters and dresses, the classic comfort is Lands End’s signature; I especially love the vibrant pink and orange striped cardigan shown above and this adorable pink and cream cozy sweater jacket featured below (which as you can see looks great with several items). It does come in a navy stripe and a solid cream but you know pink speaks to me.

I cannot wait for spring for many reasons, Lands End just made me add another reason to my list. I cannot wait for these beauties.

LOFT Spring 2011 Press Event & Cocktail Party

As of today, I am a proud owner of a Loft Store credit card (this is not good news to my bank account) but it’s fabulous news to my closet which is why I happily skipped to the Loft Spring 2011 press preview and Cocktail party (I had to give my new card a preview of what will surely be in my closet next season).

If there was one phrase to describe the Loft’s Spring 2011 collection (well, it’s actually a song), it’d be Bobby McFerrin’s “Don’t Worry Be Happy”. Loft promises a New Mood and a New Movement for Spring 2011, a collection featuring vibrant colors, bold and graphic prints, exciting colors and patterns. And that it did. Below are a few of my favorites – several of the pieces had a nautical theme (or maybe those are the ones that stood out to me). For example, I am in love with the Lilac and Khaki Nautical Striped Tee Shirt Blouse in the first photo; I love Loft’s new take on leopard print with as seen in the Scattered Leopard Print Dress under the Khaki Anorak in the second photo.

In continuing my Nautical obsession, I had to showcase this Cropped Sweater Jacket over the Stripe Knit Dress shown in the third photo and the super comfy Three Quarter Sleeve Boat Neck Sweater. I also love the added details of the Braided Belt with Striped Bow with the Twill Shorts. Of course the nautical looks were not my only favorites, as a lover of color, I was quite enamored with the Coral print looks – The beautiful Coral Ruffled V-Neck Tank, the adorable Floral Print Shorts and Tiered Ruffled Windbreaker

And of course I must showcase the accessories (side note: my first Loft purchase was a Loft necklace), I’ve always love Loft’s mix of fabric and metal in their necklaces, it really highlights the soft side and hard edge of my personalities

the gorgeous bold prints and vibrant colorful scarves, a perfect touch to bring a fun statement to any outfit

and of course shoes…shoes speak for themselves – loving the Peep Toe and Short Cage Boots below

see below for more photos from the Loft Spring 2011 Cocktail Party beginning with a photo of Austyn Zung with some of the looks from the Spring 2011 Collection – My new Loft credit card is ready
