I was so happy to take a break from all clothing fashion shows to enjoy some accessories, particularly shoes. I was invited to experience the Fall 2012 Presentation for Tuleste Market. This was my first experience with Tuleste but a quick visit to their website prior to rsvp’ing yes had me salivating. As a lover of fab shoes, I had to attend. The theme for this collection was “Shoes and Ladders” featured both footwear and jewelry. The footwear collection consisted of sculptual heels, rich textures such as pony and eelskin, warm opulent colors with metal accents
The jewelry collection also made their own statement. Though a few models wore the jewelry in layered looks, you couldn’t help but notice each individual piece’s details. Featuring 14K gold, 14K rose gold, silver and rhodium plated base metals, the ornate pieces demand attention not only with their design but with their distinctive embellishments such as resin beads, multi-stone pendants, mixed metals, etc.
