Forever 21 Spring 2012 Collection

What can you expect for Spring from Forever 21? A kaleidoscope of trends of course. At the Spring 2012 Collection preview, the collection was featured in vingettes, each representing the trends we can expect to see this season – Sixties Doll, Retro Revival, Military (I believe it was called Rebel) and chic Tea Room. A variety of looks were featured in bold floral prints, bold colors, airy chiffon, lace, polka dots, color-blocking, graphic t-shirts and jeans, peter pan collar (more on that trend another time), edgy embellishments, etc.

I’ve always been a fan of Forever 21, even though I have surpassed that age group, but they offer some really chic and sophisticated pieces that works with your wardrobe. Whether you’re more of a classic girl, girly girl, or edgy rocker, the looks and accessories from Forever 21 are so complimentary, you’ll never be unsatisfied with your purchases. For example, the above looks are pieces that easily fit into my current wardrobe but pair them with something with edgier, more playful or more classic, sophisticated pieces give your whole look a different personality

The themes were translated into accessories, we saw lots of neon, sparkle and of course lots hardware as evident in the edgy pieces below.

My favorite accessories were all from the Sixties Doll. I love floral accessories and already own a few that’s been in my possession for years (sometimes it pays to keep the piece you adore), so I was truly excited to feast my eyes on the below (I so want those floral pumps and the bow ring)
