As previously stated in my MBFW – Norisol Ferrari Spring 2013 Collection Sketch post, the Norisol Ferrari Spring 2013 Collection was inspired by the curves of women from the past such as Marilyn Monroe, Rita Hayworth and Rita Moreno.
The collection featured slim pencil, dresses, skirts, pants, etc in neutral colors, figure-gracing satin, silk, chiffon, silk crepe, leather, and jersey in silhouettes that accentuated a woman’s curves. Each look from the collection celebrated a woman’s bust, hips, etc. With a color palette that featured natural hues like black, white, cream, sand, red, silver, khaki, and forest green. Celebrating the past was also highlighted in the models as past models, Carmen Dell’Orefice – age 81, Carol Alt – age 51, Alva Chinn – age 57, and Karen Bjornson – age 58, graced the designer’s collection.
