Carlos Miele brought out his animal instincts for his Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Spring 2013 Collection show. His exciting, “hallucinatory jungle,” spring collection was filled with a variety of boldly hued animal prints like giraffe and zebra, some layered over each other, in perfectly draped billowy chiffon that danced and swayed with each model’s step
The Brazilian designer certainly knows how to wow the fashion crowd. Many looks from the wild and sexy collection featured overlays of semi-sheer black chiffon, lace embellishments and intricate beading. The collection wasn’t all jungle-themed, Miele also featured more understated looks and colors. We saw dresses with ruffled and pleated bodices, embroidery, embellished belts, fringe, etc in both soft, creamy and bolder hues.
