New York Water Taxi Introduces Newest Partner, Brooklyn Crab Restaurant

I was invited to another amazing event and introduced to another great restaurant thanks to the New York Water Taxi and Circle Line Downtown. A quick trip on the New York Water Taxi from Battery Park took us to Red Hook, Brooklyn to indulge in some delicious eats at their newest partner, Brooklyn Crab.

The warm and inviting restaurant is built on two decks overlooking the New York City harbor – a truly spectacular view, it “offers fresh seafood from all the way up the Atlantic coast and down to the Gulf of Mexico. In addition to an extensive raw bar, Brooklyn Crab also serves salads, soups, sandwiches and steak to please both crustacean and carnivore palates.” Upon arrival, we all packed ourselves into the picnic-style tables (at the event, it was a great way to meet new people)

And the food, in one word….delicious. Guests of this stupendous event got to enjoy a delicious Raw Oyster Bar, succulent Crab Claws, Shrimp Cocktail, hearty Clam Chowder, the most amazing Crab Cakes I’ve ever tasted, and for you meat lovers, a delicious Pulled Pork Sandwich (there are more “turf” options) and amazing Key Lime Pie to top off the evening’s meal. Checkout the Brooklyn Crab Full Menu here – http://brooklyncrab.com/menu/

The restaurant felt warm and cozy, the staff very accommodating and friendly, making my introduction to Brooklyn Crab an amazing one. I actually fell in love with one server, the very hilarious Fred Jankowsky (pictured below), if you do make a trip out to Brooklyn Crab, I highly recommend you request his section. This playful sweetheart will definitely keep you entertained as you enjoy the scrumptious food and drinks (by the way, I highly recommend the addictive Pina Colada).

The evening ended with an hour long and very enjoyable champagne cruise on the Hudson River to visit Lady Liberty

If you need a great place to throw an incredible event, celebratory parties, weddings or just brunch, Brooklyn Crab offers a variety of ways to enjoy their food, games, drinks, and great views. The Brooklyn Crab is located at 24 Reed Street, call 718-643-CRAB (718-643-2722) or email info@brooklyncrab.com for more information.
