Getting Gorgeous with CVS Beauty

Drugstores have become a great resource for beauty – not just affordable beauty brands but lots of specialty beauty brands as well. For the 2nd time, CVS Beauty has partnered with Getting Gorgeous to highlight accessible, practical, affordable and fabulous beauty.

At the event, we got some serious pampering. We enjoyed fabulous DIY-inspired manicures from Nicole by OPI and Sally Hansen, healthy hair styling by Conair and Scunci and we got to learn all about and try BB Cream matching with CVS Beauty Board expert, Mickey Williams

Along with all the pampering, we enjoyed delicious low calorie cocktails courtesy of Bacardi and their new launch – Bacardi Light Mojito, Bacardi Light Pina Colada and Bacardi Light Strawberry Daiquiri.

Samples of Tide Pods, Downy Unstopables and Downy Infusions to also keep our clothes clean,  looking and smelling beautiful (those Downy Unstopables are amazing)

I also discovered a new collection of stunning jewelry from Jade and Jasper, which showcased a collection of classic and statement pieces. Jade and Jasper offer beautiful and on-trend jewelry at great prices. I fell in love with their beautiful snakeskin necklace you see below
Accessories didn’t stop at jewelry, Foster Grant Eyewear also showcased their trend-ready and very affordable assortment of sunglasses – no matter your face shape and style personality, they have an affordable pair for you.

From eyewear to sentiments of the heart. Local greeting card company, Brooklyn-based Love Jac Cards, was on hand to highlight their one of a kind, handmade greeting cards

Last but certainly not least was the awesome New Balance Sneakers (I’ve already told you guys how I love pink, so of course I got really excited when I saw those amazing, super lightweight 895v2 which was inspired by clouds

We were also introduced to the latest collaboration with Heidi Klum – a style that celebrates the classic New Balance with a bit of sparkle
