GIVEAWAY | The Republic of Tea Launches The No. 1 Ladies’ Tea Collection

As a lover of tea, I was beyond excited to attend a Tea Party with The Republic of Tea and famed author, Alexander McCall Smith. You may recognize the name Alexander McCall Smith from the wonderful book series, The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency (now in its thirteenth entry), which HBO made into TV series starring Jill Scott.

If you’ve read any of the The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency books, you’ll notice there are lots of scenes where the characters drink tea, so it was no surprise to hear of the collaboration between the amazing tea powerhouse, The Republic of Tea and Alexander McCall Smith’s The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency Books on a new collection of teas inspired by the book called The No. 1 Ladies Tea, all of which are available now:

97 Per Cent Citrus Ginger Bush Tea – Made of 97 per cent green rooibos and 3 percent red rooibos and is flavored with the tang of fresh citrus and a little kick of spicy ginger. This was my favorite mainly because I love ginger. This refreshing tea is also amazing as an ice tea and with a splash of vodka or rum.

Precious’ Cup of Comfort Vanilla Red Bush Tea – This full-bodied, traditionally built, red bush tea is blended with the cozy flavor of honest vanilla beans. Endless cups of this red rooibos herb tea from South Africa can be enjoyed hot or over ice, as it is caffeine-free.

Speedy Motors Breakfast Black Tea – A blend of dependable black teas from Africa produces a rich, robust, dark cup. Great in the morning to help get the motor started or in the afternoon to keep it running. This cup is nice with a splash of warm milk.

The Republic of Tea has a distinguished collection of premium Black, Oolong, Green, White and Herbal teas, herbs, brewed iced teas and tea-inspired products that are available at over 20,000 gourmet retailers and restaurants throughout the US, online, and through their mail-order catalog. Whether you’re looking for something exotic like Roobios or Hibiscus teas or something simple like decaf or organic teas, The Republic of Tea has a vast variety of options.

The very funny Alexander McCall Smith spoke about the teas and his book to the intimate crowd before he autographed a few copies of The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency. During the entire event, we sampled each of the teas and enjoyed a few delicious deserts

I enjoyed all three teas and I want to give you a chance to do the same, so one lucky tea lover will not only win all three teas but also an autographed copy of Alexander McCall Smith’s The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency. To enter to win, see the Rafflecopter entry form below:
