Farah Angsana Spring 2012 Collection

For Spring 2012, Farah Angsana went Far East for her inspiration. Influenced by Japan’s famous cherry blossoms and a painting Angsana saw in an art gallery in Shanghai, this enchanting collection featured hand-crafted embroidery combines the beauty of the east with the modern wearability of the west. How glorious is the vibrant red intricately beaded and embellished gown – so deliciously sensuous.

Angsana’s Spring 2012 collection makes a bold sophisticated and feminine statement in impressive colors – traditional Asian red, various shads of pink which Angsana uses to represent the iconic cherry blossoms, ivory, nude tones and pale blues.

Though she only showed three pieces in this color scheme, Angsana’s ivory looks were angelic, so much like a fairy tale. Embellished with crystals, feathers and pleating, each look is elegant, seductive and radiant.
