If you have managed to still be upright after the first few days of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, then pat yourself on the back because it’s a real workout to rush from show to show carrying show lists, gift bags and whatever else you have to carry (usually any kind of food is no where in sight) to survive New York Fashion Week. This is why I say my thanks to the fashion bible that is Fashion Week Daily for their Daily suite.
The Daily presented the Daily Beauty Bar as a refuge for bloggers, editors, celebrities, etc to come and relax during this hectic week. Held at the fabulous Townhouse Spa, guests were treated so facials, massages, manis and pedis, makeovers from Urban Decay, revitalizing hair styles from Ouidad Curl Expert, an amazing lunch and thirst-quenching beverages to add some life back into our bodies. I used the brief hour break I had between shows to indulge in the relaxation The Daily Beauty Bar offered.
We enjoyed the healthy snaking Popchips, a Starbucks pick me up with Starbucks Frappuccino, yummy cupcakes, a hearty fulfilling lunch, got to play with some fab eyewear from Galliano, Tod’s and DSquared2. I don’t know how we could survive fashion week without having a chance to enjoy this break. So a huge “you’re fabulous” to the Daily.
