Letoya Luckett + VIBE Vixen + Luster’s Smooth Touch Party

Every so often I get to cover an event that’s a bit different from my usual but I embrace them. None of my usual crew was with me, so this one I got to attend alone.

On this hot summer day, Luster’s Pink Hair Care, together with Vibe Vixen Magazine, introduced the new face of  Luster’s Pink Smooth Touch, Grammy Award Winning Singer and former original Destiny’s Child member, Letoya Luckett (Letoya replaced Singer, Keyshia Cole as the new spokesperson).

The Smooth Touch line includes Smooth Touch Regular Relaxer Kit, Smooth Touch Super Relaxer Kit, Smooth Touch Olive Oil Sheen Spray, Smooth Touch Olive Oil Hair Lotion and Smooth Touch Shine Polish. Letoya’s photo and autograph will appear on the Limited Edition Pink Smooth Touch Relaxer Kits (as you can see above). The products were made available mid-July. See the below video for more information including a speech from Luster’s President, Jory Luster

As the brand’s new face, Letoya will be making several appearances in several US Cities. Luster’s will also further promote the brand by doing  High School Homecoming Mall Takeovers on September 25th, October 2nd and October 9th in Charlotte, NC, Chicago, IL and Houston, TX. The Luster’s hair team will provide tips and solutions to female students in attendance. They will also put on a Homecoming Fashion Style show featuring homecoming dress fashions, hair style and makeup options by Luster’s International Style Team. Letoya, who seemed incredibly sweet was very excited to be a part of the Luster’s family. See below for more info (and for a view of her cute outfit …especially her fab shoes)

See below for more photos from the party including Letoya receiving a very beautiful gift (wrapped in the ever lovely blue Tiffany box)
