Inside the Makeup greenhouse was Sephora’s beauty team (all of whom were beautifully done up with Radiant Orchid beauty products – makes us love the collection even more to see it on), on hand to give all who stopped by the chance to try out any of the products from the Radiant Orchid Collection. Special guest attendees included Sephora Artistry Ambassador, Aaron de Mey, and Opening Ceremony Designers Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, whose Fall 2014 Collection show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week featured makeup using the Sephora + Pantone Universe Radiant Orchid Collection.
This main greenhouse was brimming with beautiful flowers (we saw lots of orchids all around – some even atop delicious cupcakes), a table overflowing with sweet treats and eats, and the stunning products from the collection, decorating each individual makeup station.
The second and smaller, Bumble and bumble Greenhouse, attendees were treated to hair styling, such as blowouts and hair braiding, as tv screens showed scenes from Opening Ceremony’s Fall 2014 show. After getting hair and makeup done, guests were given the option of getting their photo taken at the photo booth located between the two greenhouses.
Next up for Sephora was the opening of their Queens location at Queens Center in Elmhurst yesterday, March 28th….expect more on that a bit later.
