Affordable Style | What We’re Loving from Sears Fall 2014 Offerings

Sometimes you just can’t escape your budget, you have to surrender to it and curb your spending; but when it comes to your wardrobe, a diminished budget doesn’t mean you have to give up on style. Thanks to Sears and their vast collection of affordable brands that boasts current and popular fashion trends, building an enviable wardrobe, that is still budget friendly, is easier than you think. Thanks to brands such as Metaphor, Now + Here, Bongo, Kardashian Kollection, Joe by Joe Boxer, Canyon River Blues, Champion, Everlast, and US Polo & Assn, Sears can clothe every aspect of your life.

Looking for new outerwear this fall? We suggest you begin with the Metaphor, and Covington collections for chic, classic styles, and Everlast, and US Polo & Assn for sporty outerwear styles. Spice up your fall wardrobe with the sexy silhouettes from the Kardashian Kollection, on-trend and cutting edge looks from Bongo and Now + Here, and cozy must-haves from Joe by Joe Boxer. We have a special affinity for the uber-soft Joe by Joe Boxer one-piece pajamas, available in fun prints and colors, you’ll never want to take them off.

Sears also has us super excited about the accessories hitting the store’s shelves. There’s lots to catch your attention; we’re especially loving the incredibly cute animal and text-printed hats (they’re just so cute), the adorable owl backpacks (we’re sensing a woodsland theme), as well as the chic and print-heavy range of handbags.

We were also truly impressed with the stunning jewelry pieces Sears showcased from Carole Inc and Studio S. While Carole Inc boasted edgier pieces, Studio S added modern twists and details to the classic pearl, and gold jewelry.

We shared our favorite looks, all of which are available right now. Are they any looks that catch your eye?

Back-to-School Style & Fall Fashion Trends from Kmart Fashion

It’s just about that time of cooler temperatures, and leaves changing color; and just as the trees get ready to change and shed their leaves, it is time to shed your summer wardrobe and replace it with fall looks. We’ve already showed you a few brand options and will continue with more like the labels available at Kmart. Today we highlight some of our favorite pieces from Route 66, Dream Out Loud, Sofia Vergara, Attention, and Jaclyn Smith.ROUTE 66 – We found ourselves intrigued by the fall tops and outerwear from the Route 66 fall 2014 offerings. With looks that are perfect for class, hanging out, and the weekend, you’re sure to find a few fall favorites. Details present is the collection include sheer, floral crochet, faux distressed leather sleeves, graphic sweatshirts and tees, and our favorite, splattered plaid effect.

DREAM OUT LOUD – while lace details dominated our clothing favorites from Dream Out Loud, we loved the tribal prints that were dominant in the bag collection. We loved the floral and plaid tops with lace inserts as layering pieces, they pair perfectly with jeans and would look great under the Dream Out Loud sheer Bomber Jacket. There’s more great back-to-school looks to be found here.

SOFIA VERGARA – you can always count on the Sofia Vergara collection to bring vibrant colors and sultry looks. We’re loving the pencil skirt with snakeskin print and its color block details, the moto-styled faux leather jacket, leggings with faux leather panels, and the abstract animal print pants.

ATTENTION – this remains our favorite label from Kmart because of its fresh, edgy offerings. This season, their outerwear is blowing us over. We love the modern take on classic car coat – it’s quilted, boasts striking gold-tone hardware and an asymmetrical zippered front. We loved the Merlot-hued jacket for its fusion of moto-style and bomber jacket details and our favorite, the beautiful camel-colored, color-block beauty. Tops and dresses are bold, eye-catching, and graphic, perfect for those who want to stand out.

BONGO – it’s all about standing out for the Bongo Fall 2014 collection, from clothing to shoes, they want you to make a statement with bold prints and abstract art-inspired pieces. Wear a floral print in a new way with the comfy sweatshirt with chiffon front panel, celebrate your edginess with a beaded and sparkly skull sweatshirt, show your wild side with a colorful animal print, and top it off with a printed shoe. These will certainly get the right attention walking the school halls.

JACLYN SMITH – we always associated the Jacklyn Smith label with an older set but with their fall 2014, we saw lots of hot trends and fresh, youthful and playful pieces. We’re in love with the adorable graphic puppy sweatshirt, the utility shirts with fun, all-over prints – we love the fox print, and we suggest also grabbing the gold leaf and the floral. Another favorite is the above chiffon shirt with the bird print on one side and graphic square print on the other, mixing prints is key this season and this shirt does it well. We love the addition of the purple tweed blazer draped over it for a chic look.

These are just a small sampling on what Kmart fashion has in store for you this fall.Check out a few more of Kmart’s fall 2014 offerings below.  Any favorite looks or pieces?
