Christian Siriano kept his audience enraptured at his Fall 2011 Mercedes Benz Fashion Show. While he started off his collection with a more dark and basic beginning – showcasing Tweed Blazers and double-breasted jackets, mixes of wool crepe and leather and cashmere – he ended the show with his usual daring style.
While I do admire Christian’s more grown up and serious side, I must admit, I’m in love with his more daring over-the-top gowns. I love his boldness, his obvious haute couture tastes and knowledge (he may not do it for a few years but I’m ready for Christian Siriano’s Haute Couture collection now – a couture only collection from Siriano is as inevitable as water flowing downwards).
Its amazing to think that such big bold designs come from that tiny body but this just solidifies his love of fashion. A few of my favorites are the billowing gowns, especially the black draped Tulle one Shoulder Gown with two full Tiered Skirts
I would give detail on his footwear collection for Payless (which it self were a religious experience) but unfortunately I was not close enough to get accurate photos to do them justice but as you can see in some of the photos, they are a must have – I know I will be adding a few to my collection.
