Tracy Reese 2011 Fall/Winter Collection

Tracy Reese is one of my favorite designers and one that usually gets a percentage of my earnings (no matter how small it may be), so of course I make it point to never miss her Mercedes Benz Fashion show. Her looks are always feminine and body friendly – no matter the body. This season her Fall 2011 collection featured her usual romantic silhouettes, her wonderful prints and her mix of bold (I fully support bright bold colors during the winter months) and subdued colors, all showcased in sculptural shapes and interesting textural combinations.

 

She featured the muted tones of toffee, black, brown and gray and vibrant shots of metallics and jewel tones in her flowy dresses, maxi pleated skirts, chic shifts and shells. Her fur jackets and collars were of course perfection and I wish I had one now.
