Avril Lavigne for Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips

Hey guys, Nelly here again to introduce you to the newest nail polish launch from Sally Hansen. Edgy punk rock princess, Avril Lavigne and teamed up with the Nail Polish giant to launch a collection of edgy limited edition nail polish strips. The collection includes (top row left to right) – Take the Stage, You’re a Star, Fur-ocious Vocals, Purr-fect Harmony, In the SPOT-light and (bottom row left to right) – Running Wild, Beat You to it!, STUD-io Time, Sound Check, Plaidical, Crowd Surfer and Headbanger.

The 12-piece limited edition peel-and-apply patterns are all rock inspired and features Avril Lavigne’s signature energetic, no-frills attitude and straight talking lyrics. The designs features skull-and-bones, funky leopard prints, glitter ombre, plaid, etc. Avril herself was wearing the Headbanger – one of our favorites here – with Beat You to it! on one finger; she actually applied it as we were learning about the capsule collection.

“I was so excited to collaborate with Sally Hansen on Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips,” says Avril. “I always say that you need to be able to express yourself and these nail polish strips deliver the ultimate form of self-expression. Their unique, bold designs offer long lasting results and are unlike anything else on the market. They totally rock!”

The designs are very much what I expected from Avril Lavigne and I look forward to seeing what she offers next. As with the regular nail polish strips, which is available starting now and retails for $9.99, these will also contain 16 nail polish strips, a cuticle stick, mini file/buffer and instructions for easy at-home application. When you’re ready to change your nail strips, just take them off with your favorite Sally Hansen polish remover for an instantly clean state and apply another great design.
