Another favorite show of mine this season was Charlotte Ronson’s Spring 2013. The designer once again captivates with her always flattering Collection. Her easy going and fluid collection was inspired by the ocean. Featuring a soft color palette, lots of netting (perhaps a nod to fishermen nets), leather and even a few looks with plastic, the collection was a ready-to-wear dream.
Every look in the collection put you in the mood for a tropical getaway. With cool, flirty separates, adorable shorts sets and chic feminine dresses, the versatile collection compliments any occasion. I loved her mix of leather and printed fabrics, color-blocking with netting, peek-a-boo cutouts and of course her colored plastics. Just a perfect collection all around.
I know what I’ll be packing when I book my tropical vacation.
