Once again it was time again for the most amazing time in beauty. A beauty lover’s favorite event – The Makeup Show. The grand dame of beauty events started off with a special Blogger preview and opening party. Heralded by the utterly hilarious James Vincent, The Makeup Show’s Director of Artistry and Education, we got an exclusive sneak peek of brands who showcased in this year’s show and some of James Vincent’s favorite products.
James introduced us to some of the over 75 beauty brands, 6 keynote speakers, 20 seminars, and 14 hands-on workshops. After the fun-filled event, we ventured upstairs to the opening party which also highlighted the Sound and Vision Face ChART Contest, which had artists and The Makeup Show attendees interpret their fsvorite songs into fine art, their student competition, The Makeup Show NYC Wonder Games and a tribute to Wojciech Inglot, Founder of Inglot Cosmetics who recently passed away.
