The Makeup Show NYC 2013

Whether you’re a beauty addict, aspiring makeup artist or just a beauty beginner, attending The Makeup Show NYC is a must. Anything and everything you ever wanted to know about the cosmetics industry you can learn at The Makeup Show NYC. Not only from leading experts in the beauty industry but directly from the beauty brands as well. This years The Makeup Show NYC brought top leading, niche and lesser-known brands who showcased everything from foundation and lip products to body art and nail polish.

One product I’m particularly excited about is by a brand that’s fairly new to me – Nurturing Force. As someone who is plagued with oily skin and looks at humidity as the enemy (it really is) I was beyond excited to be introduced to their Blot Out Offensive

The Blot Out Offensive makes skin into an instant matte/anti-shine canvas for you to apply makeup, a HD primer and barrier cream that controls oil secretion throughout the day, providing excellent adhesion for all Airbrushed applications (Water, Alcohol & Silicone Airbrushed Foundations), all Foundations including: Liquids, Powders, Creams Makeup, Mineral Makeup + Body Art. Speaking of Body Art, beauty brands like Make Up For Ever, etc wowed with more exquisite body art, just as we saw at The Makeup Show Opening Party.

Apart from the amazing collections of beauty, we had access to panels and speakers with insight from some of the world’s leading experts from all facets of beauty….with a few celebrities thrown into the mix

So if you love all things beauty or want to get some amazing insight into the beauty world, attending The Makeup Show NYC is a required part of your beauty knowledge journey or at least it should be.
