Coming Soon to the US: Mondelliani Eyewear

Finally the sun is out and blaring. That means it’s time for more eyewear highlights. Today we’re featuring Mondelliani Eyewear, from designer Federico Mondello, and their capsule EOLIE Collection. This collection pays tribute to the six islands: Lipari, Vulcano, Salina, Alicudi, Filicudi, Panarea, that make up the Sicilian islands. This handmade-in-Italy collection boasts unique, vintage frames, inspired by the 1960s and 1970s, that concentrate on form and shape, to compliment the face. The frames feature fun, bold colors either as a tone-on-tone color combination, or color contrast. All the frames are acetate, boasts laser and silver ink, as well as high quality screw hinges. Check out two of our favorites below:

SALINA

We love the vintage cat eye shape and we know you will too. We love the difference in color tones of the front from the rest of the glasses, the color saturation, and in some options, the ombre (we especially love the pink that goes into orange). These are perfect is your face is square, heart-shaped or oval.

VULCANO

Love round sunglasses, you will love the Vulcano. They also feature dual color tones and color blending as seen in the above Salina. These are also fantastic for faces that are square, heart-shaped or oval.

Mondelliani Eyewear has been around for 45 years and thanks to Ilaria Niccolini Production (INP), who first introduced them at FTL MODA during last Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York,  we are finally able to get our hands on these sunglasses stateside. Keep an eye out for these fun eyewear collection sooon.
