We are always highlighting a good cause, especially when you can help someone by doing something you’d normally do anyway. We love to celebrate charitable efforts like shop for a cause, tweet for a cause, etc, which is why we’re highlighting Walgreen’s #GetAShot, Give a Shot Campaign. It’s getting to be the time of seasonal flu and time to get yourself and your family immunization shots. The great part of this campaign is that for every flu shot or any other immunization you get at Walgreens, they will help provide a lifesaving vaccine to a child in a developing country through the UN Foundation’s Shot@Life program. It’s hard to believe that not every child has access to medicine for preventable diseases but that my dear readers is a harsh reality. While diseases like whooping cough, measles, and meningitis are curable with a short walk to your neighborhood Walgreens for a shot, it is not so easy for families in developing countries.
Did you know that 1 in 5 children around the world still have no access to the lifesaving vaccines? That two of the most common causes of child death are the very treatable pneumonia and diarrhea? That 1.5 million children die every year from vaccine-preventable diseases? That’s one child dying every 20 seconds. No family should go through the heartache of losing a child, especially when it’s because of something that is preventable with an immunization shot.
With over 8,215 drugstore locations nationwide, Walgreens is not only the most convenient location to receive these lifesaving vaccines for you and your family, it is also the most philanthropic. Your immunization can help this very charitable campaign to reach its goal of providing up to 3 million vaccines to kids that need it most. Walgreens offers vaccines for several of the most well-known preventative diseases with no appointment necessary and provides you with all the information you need to stay healthy.
So while you’re picking up your essentials at Walgreens, make a pledge to get your flu shot at their Immunization Center and help provide the gift of health and possibly life to child.

I love your motivational tip to forget the fashion rules. I think that we too often put ourselves into a very strict box of dos and don’ts, but if we forget the rules, then we will have a broader pool of options. I think also, making sure you don't limit yourself makes you in the long run happier and confident in what you look like. Thanks for all of your tips and insights!
so many people do but you can get great finds
Great review! I always forget about Kmart.
i wholeheartedly agree with you on the boots lol
Wow, there are some bright/bold fashion choices going on there! Digging the boots, you can never have to many boots despite what my husband says 🙂
