Heritage Auctions, alongside Game of Thrones fan-favorite actors Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark) and Kristian Nairn (Hodor), recently offered a preview of the auction at its NYC Gallery, providing fans with a closer look at the items up for bid. The collection spans over 900 lots and includes more than 2,000 pieces in total. Items on offer range from iconic costumes and weapons to set decorations and jewelry, many of which were featured throughout the eight-season run of David Benioff and D.B. Weiss’ adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s novels.

Clapton says now it’s “heartwarming” to see her Game of Thrones costumes head to auction because they “will have another life” beyond their use on the series.

“You design things for a television show, and usually that’s the extent of their lifespan: They get put in boxes and stored away,” Clapton says. “I am very fortunate that these costumes will have an afterlife. I find it’s rather comforting to know they will carry on, that they’re still loved and talked about. Now they can all go off and have their great lives.”
