Tucked into the heart of Manhattan’s Koreatown, Antoya has become one of NYC’s most beloved Korean BBQ destinations, a place where centuries-old culinary tradition meets the dynamic rhythm of modern city life. Since opening in 2018, Antoya has redefined what it means to dine Korean-style, combining heritage recipes, premium ingredients, and the irresistible energy that makes Korean BBQ such a joyful experience.

Dining at Antoya feels like stepping into a story, one told through flame, flavor, and family. We had the incredible opportunity to indulge in their Premium Korean BBQ experience. This premium beef platter features Marinated Galbi, Ribeye, Short Rib, Seasoned Cubed Short Rib, Flat Iron Steak, and a mini stew. It was an evening that lingered in both taste and memory.

The aroma of sizzling meats filled the air as attentive servers brought an array of beautifully marbled cuts, USDA Prime galbi, pork belly, and tender chicken, each grilled tableside to perfection. Surrounding the grill was a colorful spread of banchan, the small side dishes that define Korean dining: crisp kimchi, pickled vegetables, glass noodles, and more, each offering a different texture and flavor note to balance the meal.

What makes Antoya truly special is its seamless blend of tradition and innovation. The restaurant honors recipes passed down through generations while embracing the energy of today’s New York diner. Every dish, from hearty stews and sizzling platters to their famous Korean fried chicken, tells a story of comfort, craftsmanship, and care. Even the cocktails reflect this spirit, pairing creative mixology with the familiar flavors of Korea’s iconic soju and spirits.

The experience is as much about connection as it is about cuisine. Tables are alive with laughter and conversation as guests gather around the grill, sharing bites, pouring drinks, and celebrating together. Antoya’s warm, modern interior mirrors this energy, sleek yet inviting, designed to make every visit feel like both a special occasion and a moment of home.

Antoya’s excellence has earned well-deserved acclaim, including recognition on Michelin’s Bib Gourmand Guide in both 2021 and 2022. Yet despite the accolades, it remains refreshingly grounded in its purpose: to deliver genuine Korean hospitality with every dish served.

Located at 37 W 32nd Street, in the vibrant heart of Koreatown, Antoya continues to shape the story of Korean dining in New York City. It’s a restaurant that feels both timeless and timely, where the crackle of the grill, the richness of tradition, and the pulse of Manhattan come together in perfect harmony. Whether it’s your first visit or your fifth, one thing is certain: dinner at Antoya isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience.
