You may or may not recall me covering the Limited’s Holiday Preview this past August and how I drooled over the Soft-Collared Pea Coat in Teal. Well, thanks to The Limited’s Pop-Up Shop on 134 Spring Street in Soho, that baby is now mine (YAY). The Pop-Up Shop, which was open from October 15th – October 17th reacquainted all us 80’s Babies with the IT Sweater from our childhood – The Forenza Sweater (there’s an updated version, the Forenza Shaker Cowl, which looks amazing with the Limited’s Multi Zipper Belt)
On October 14th, there was a preview for media which not only gave us the opportunity to review the collection but also purchase as well. The best part, we had an amazing 40% off. You can imagine the crowd of women balancing cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and hangers of clothing, acessories, etc (but when it comes to shopping, we are pros, aren’t we)
Of course I had to take advantage of the 40%, so along with my Pea Coat, I also got an Infinity Scarf and a Ribbed-Sleeve Cowl Sweater and all for 40% off (complete heaven). Note my position on line to pay for my lovely purchases below. As you can see, I was far from the only person taking advantage of such great products at such great savings
As other fellow New Yorkers have noticed, the Limited disappeared several years ago and now only have free-standing stores mostly in New Jersey (there are a few in Staten Island as well) but to those who have missed Manhattan’s locations (me and every woman shopping this event)- this was an amazing return. One I hope will be permanent again soon. For now, I guess I have to make due with shopping online.
Anyway, the evening ended with another big surprise – the giftbag. I was already happy with my 40% off savings but on our way out, we were gifted with an Infinity Scarf, so I basically got two scarves for one and at 40% off….total bliss. I love you Limited
