Designer, Joaquin Trias’s inspiration for his Spring 2011 Collection was a simple one – “the study of the impact of air against the body and its dynamic effect on fabric”. The inspiration, called Seized Movement, featured six colors – red, strawberry (pink), orange, earth (ash brown), white and coffee brown (dark brown). His looks were quite simple and actually were very structured – not what I expected when I read his inspiration. The lines were very clean, his should simple silhouettes in solid colors, no prints or patterns.
I admit that I do love his dresses – easy, simple, elegant. I wouldn’t say this Trias woman is edgy, infact, far from but she does have a little attitude, a certain strength.
Trias also introduced an accessories collection consisting of shoes in traditional and kangaroo leather in the same color palette as his collection and rope belts. The shoes in this accessories collection consisted of shoes and boots with wooden heels. See the show finale below
