In celebration of Pride Month, BYOMA, the renowned and affordable skincare brand, is hosting an exciting event called “Pickleball for Pride.” This special event took place at City Pickle, Wollman Rink in Central Park on Tuesday, June 20th, and we had the pleasure of attending and participating in what can only be described as a tennis, paddle ball, and ping pong hybrid event.
Pickleball for Pride was a wonderfully engaging and inclusive event, offering us a range of activities and amenities. To ensure a fantastic experience, the event featured skilled pickleball instructors who guided those of us who never played the popular paddle sport. BYOMA racquets were provided, allowing everyone to join in the fun and learn or improve their pickleball skills. We also enjoyed delectable snacks and beverages on this hot day, ensuring our energy levels remained high throughout the event.

For the second consecutive year, BYOMA has partnered with GLSEN, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering safe and inclusive school environments for LGBTQIA+ youth.
In recognition of the Pickleball for Pride event, BYOMA has pledged a generous donation of $20,000 to GLSEN. This contribution will further support GLSEN’s crucial work, making a positive impact on the lives of LGBTQIA+ youth and helping to create safe and accepting spaces within educational institutions.
