CLEAN Launches Newest Fragrance, RAIN

I generally gear towards sweet, sultry and spicy fragrances and nothing too floral but every so often I’m captivated by a new scent that’s totally not in my scent category. The latest fragrance to surprise and win me over is one that is subtle, fresh, warm, and floral – CLEAN Rain

Created by legendary perfumer, Firmenich’s Harry Fremont, CLEAN Rain is described as an “acquatic floral fragrance”, capturing simple, pleasurable moments in life like “the moment following a fresh rainfall”.

“Rain was inspired by those first pristine moments following a rain shower,” says Harry Fremont, perfumer of CLEAN Fragrances. “In creating the fragrance, I sought to capture the purity and beauty evoked by the image of crystal clear raindrop clinging against the vivid green backdrop of a dewy leaf.”

The notes include:

Top Notes – opens with the freshness of Dewy Melon, Daffodil and Watermint
Heart Notes – formed with the bright florals of Daisy, Water Lily and Violet Leaves
Base Notes – the warmth and earthiness of Fluid Musks and Sleek Woods

Aside from not really liking floral fragrances, I am also not a fan of melon (in any form) but I absolutely love the addition of melon as a CLEAN Rain fragrance note. It gave me the sweetness and hint of fruitiness I love in fragrances just in a much more delicate level. I may be alone in this but I can see guys wearing this fragrance, that’s how clean and subtle it is

Housed in a classically shaped, aquamarine bottle, CLEAN Rain is available in 60ml and 30ml Eau de Parfums which will retail for $69.00 and $38.00 respectively. Keep an eye out for this fresh fragrance in October at Sephora, Ulta and Dillard’s.
