It’s official, in two days, we officially say goodbye to the summer season. The temperatures haven’t quite caught up to the upcoming Autumn Equinox (the first day of Fall will be in the high 80’s), so we thought it was the perfect time to indulge in a favorite summer treat. Lindy’s Homemade Italian Ice, who (if you’ve been following our Snapchats) have saved us on many of the summer’s 90+ degree days. So in honor of the slightly decreasing temperatures, we thought we’d raise an Italian Ice (summer’s unofficial cooling treat) to the change in season. We’re also celebrating by giving two of our readers a coupon for a FREE box of Lindy’s Homemade Italian Ice. What flavor you get is totally up to you (there are thirteen to choose from).
Growing up, we remember our summers were filled with hitting up the Italian Ice carts to indulge in a cherry or coconut (sometimes both) Icee. That enjoyment of deliciously sweet coolness was brought back to us over this extremely hot summer thanks to Lindy’s Homemade Italian Ice. You can enjoy all thirteen flavors of this fat-free, gluten-free frozen treat, which boasts only around 100 calories, right out of the cup or in a delicious cocktail. In fact, we encourage you to let your taste buds run wild with one of the cocktail recipes featured below, or one of your own.
