Is there such a thing as naughty and angelic? Monique Lhuillier managed to capture exactly this in her OMG! What a show to see! Gorgeous is the resounding word! Spring 2010 collection during NY Fashion Week. Lush frocks for lush occasions? Check. The most decadent of all were the hand-painted magnolias on organza, woven into jacquard drop-waist ball gowns with corset bodice and full skirts down below JAH-DROPPING. They were surely knockouts that sprung up under Lhuillier’s green thumb. She has totally inspired for a black-tie night that has every girl praying like Cinderella for an invitation to the ball. Evening will always be what Lhuillier does best, but never leaving cocktail attire far behind. DREAMY.
