A Toast to International Cabernet Day With American Cabernet Sauvignons

A Toast to International Cabernet Day With American Cabernet Sauvignons

From the moment the shutdown completely isolated us at home to today’s hybrid of half Zoom, half in-person meet-ups, a glass of wine has helped us navigate stressful days. Since today is International Cabernet Day, we thought we’d celebrate the toughest grape out there, the Cabernet grape. We’re presenting a few red wine options that will take your tastebuds on a journey.

In celebration of International Cabernet Day, we’re highlighting six Cabs or Cab Sauvs from the budget-friendly Our Daily Cab and Bread & Butter, and the splurge-worthy True Myth, Silver Spur, Smith & Hook, and Antler Hill. These American cabs are exactly what you need to enjoy the full-bodied wine varietal. Let’s get to know these amazing American red wines.

This seductive deep brick red wine has crimson hues, aromas of red cherries, cassis, cedar, warm gravel, and graphite. The wine is in constant motion, playfully dancing across the palate to finish with fine, dusty tannins.
