For years, Padma had set aside her dream of designing a lingerie collection, but she finally decided to bring it to life. With her extensive experience modeling lingerie, she understands the intimate and personal significance of this aspect of a woman’s wardrobe. When Bare Necessities approached her with the idea, she eagerly embraced the creative challenge, aiming to design “a nice mix of everyday staples, as well as a couple of pieces that felt a little dressier and sexy.”
Collaborating closely with the experts at Bare Necessities, Padma focused on creating a collection that flatters all body types. She believes that lingerie isn’t just for a specific demographic of women with one particular body type. She paid particular attention to the needs of women with larger bust sizes, in the hope “the collection encourages women of all ages and sizes to feel sexy and feminine”.
She shares, “I feel more confident in my body today than I ever did when I was that age modeling lingerie. I’m hoping that women will treasure these styles and use them in a variety of ways—in and out of the bedroom.”
The Padma x Bare Necessities collection ranges from $12.00 to $138.00. The sizes range from 32-38 bands in cups from C-G. Underwear and loungewear are available in sizes S-XXL. Swimwear comes in sizes 6-16. All are available exclusively at www.barenecessities.com.
