Last Call: St. Patrick’s Day Cocktails

Hello revelers, this is the last call on St. Patrick’s Day cocktails to help you thoroughly enjoy celebrating everything Irish (even if you’re not Irish) for the next 24 hours. We had so many amazing St. Patrick’s Day cocktails to share, we had to do a third highlight of even more of these wonderful drink recipes.

We bring you more cocktails from Midori Melon Liqueur, Roca Patron Silver Tequila, and a delectable Basil Hayden’s Bourbon cocktail created by San Francisco Bartial Artist, Zachary Brian Taylor, and a refreshing cucumber drink from Nolet’s Silver Dry Gin. If you’re ready to dive in one more time, may we present to you the following five cocktails.

Midori Emerald Daiquiri

Midori Emerald Daiquiri

1 part Midori Melon Liqueur
1 part Cruzan Aged Light Rum
Juice of 1 Lime
Melon Balls or Lime Wheels
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass with an optional sugared rim. Garnish with a melon ball and/or lime wheel on the rim.

Basil Hayden’s Lucky Ginger Created by Zachary Brian Taylor

BH_Lucky Ginger

1 1/2 parts Basil Hayden’s Bourbon
3/4 parts Lemon Juice
1/2 part Brown Sugar Syrup*
1 spring of Rosemary
Ginger Beer
Combine Basil Hayden’s® Bourbon, lemon juice, and brown sugar syrup into a cocktail shaker. Remove rosemary needles from the bottom 3/4 of the spring and add to the shaker. Save the top of the spring for use as a garnish. Add ice to shaker and shake. Double strain into a Collins glass filled with ice. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with the remaining rosemary spring.

*Brown Sugar Syrup
1 part Water
1 part Brown Sugar
Combine water and brown sugar in a saucepan and warm. Stir until sugar is fully dissolved into the water. Pour into an empty container and set aside.

Midori Green Eyed Ginger

Midori Green Eyed Ginger

1 part Midori® Melon Liqueur
2 parts 2 GINGERS® Irish Whiskey
2 parts Ginger Ale
Lemon Wheel
Lime Wheel
Build in order over ice in a tall glass. Garnish with a lemon & lime half moon wheel on the rim.

Basil Lime Margarita

Basil Lime Margarita
2 oz Roca Patrón Silver
1 oz Fresh squeezed lime juice
1 oz simple syrup
4 basil leaves, 1 for garnish
Lime wheel, for garnish
Kosher salt, for glass rim
Combine liquid ingredients and three basil leaves in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously with ice to chill. Strain onto fresh ice in a rocks glass and garnish with a lime wheel and basil leaf.

NOLET’S Silver Cucumber Gimlet

NOLET'S Cucumber Gimlet
1.25 oz. Nolet’s Silver Dry Gin
.75 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
.5 oz. Simple Syrup
Dash Celery Bitters
Cucumber + Basil
In a mixing glass, muddle cucumber and basil with syrup and lime juice. Add Nolet’s Silver, celery bitters and ice. Shake well and serve up in a martini glass. Garnish with a long slice of cucumber and fresh basil leaf.

Celebrate the Luck of the Irish w/ Green St. Patrick’s Day Cocktails

It’s time once again to celebrate the Feast of St. Patrick, the day that honors Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, the arrival of Christianity in Ireland, and celebrates Irish heritage and culture. Along with a parade, celebratory festivities include the wearing of the color green and drinking green St. Patrick’s Day cocktails. Today we concentrate on the latter with some delicious green-hued libations.

ST. PATRICK'S DAY COCKTAILS

Whether you’re staying home to create and enjoy these recipes on your own, or you’re participating in a bar crawl and a bartender will be making these for you, prepare to indulge in great drinks from Sauza Tequila, Midori Melon Liqueur, Skinnygirl Cocktails, and Knob Creek Rye Whiskey. Ready to indulge? Here goes:

Shamrock Sipper

Shamrock Sipper

2 parts Skinnygirl Cucumber Vodka
½ part fresh lime juice
Club soda
Muddled mint leaves
Shamrock-shaped cucumber slice for garnish
Shake all ingredients except club soda with ice and pour into a glass. Top with club soda. Garnish with a shamrock-shaped cucumber slice.

Sauza Midori Margarita (Serves 8)

Sauza Midori Margarita

1 ½ cups Sauza Signature Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
2 cups Midori
2 cups fresh lemon sour
1 cup fresh lime juice
Lime wedges for garnish
Melon balls for garnish
Combine all ingredients in a pitcher and stir. Place in the refrigerator to chill. Pour into martini glasses. Garnish with a skewered lime wedge and melon ball.

Luck of the Irish

Luck of the Irish

2 ¼ slices jalapeño chile, seeds removed (use more slices if you like it spicy)
3 parts Skinnygirl Margarita
Chili powder or Mexican chili seasoning mixed with coarse salt
Lime peel for garnish
Muddle the jalapeño slices in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Pour Skinnygirl® Margarita over the jalapeños. Add ice and shake well. Rim a rocks glass with the chili powder mixture and pour in the margarita. Garnish with a lime peel.

Midori and Ale
Midori® and Ale

1 part Midori Melon Liqueur
1 bottle Light Beer
Combine Midori and light beer in a tall glass. Stir and enjoy!

Knob Creek Mint Ginger Old Fashioned (Created by Celebrity Chef Michael Symon)

KNOB CREEK® MINT GINGER OLD FASHIONED

1 ½ Parts Knob Creek Rye Whiskey
Ginger Beer
½ Part Lemon Juice
¼ Part Green Chartreuse
6-8 Mint Leaves
Combine all ingredients (except ginger beer) in a bar tin with ice and shake well. Strain into a chilled Collins glass, top off with ginger beer and garnish with a single mint leaf.

Today we offer incredible options that range in color from brilliant green, to pale moss green, from some of our favorite spirits: Sauza Tequila, Hornitos Tequila, and Skinnygirl Cocktails. We’ve got you covered, whether you’re counting calories, or counting kisses, but we’re not skimping on extraordinary taste. Break out your shamrocks and dive into one of these emerald brews.

Lucky Rita

1 part Sauza® Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
½ part DeKuyper® Melon Liqueur
2 parts limeade
Sugar
Lemon slice ( for garnish)
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice combine all ingredients and shake to chill. Strain into a cocktail glass filled with ice and rimmed with sugar. Garnish with a lemon slice. Enjoy!

The Mexichaun

2 parts Hornitos® Plata Tequila
⅔ parts green chartreuse
1 part fresh lime juice
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass. Strain over ice.

Hornitos® Green Mexican

1 Part Hornitos® Plata Tequila
1 Part Midori®
4 parts sweet and sour mix
Fill a Collins glass with ice. Add Hornitos® Plata Tequila and Midori®, fill rest of glass with sour mix, and garnish with an orange slice.

Mint Margarita

1 part Sauza® Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
2 ½ parts club soda
1 part fresh lime juice
1 bunch of fresh mint
1 part sugar
Salt to rim (optional)
Extra mint leaves (for garnish)
Lime wedge (for garnish)
In a glass, muddle together the mint leaves, sugar and lime juice until they start to melt together. Add tequila. Fill glass with ice and pour cocktail mixture 3/4 of the way to the top of each glass. If you want, rim your glass with salt by rubbing the rim with a lime wedge and dipping in a plate of salt. Fill glass with club soda and garnish with an extra sprig of mint and lime wedge.

Lucky March Mojito

1 part Skinnygirl® Prosecco
1 part light rum
1 tsp. agave nectar
3 parts lime juice
Splash of lime flavored sparkling water
3 sprigs of mint
Shake rum, lime juice and agave nectar in cocktail shaker with ice. Top with Skinnygirl Prosecco and sparkling water, and pour into tall Collins glass. Muddle in mint leaves and enjoy!

Sour Apple Margarita

1 part Sauza® Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
½ part DeKuyper® Sour Apple Pucker
2 parts frozen limeade
2 parts apple juice
1 Granny Smith Apple (for garnish)
Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Mix well and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve chilled or over ice. Garnish with apple slice.

Shamrock Sipper

1 ½ parts Skinnygirl® Cucumber Vodka
6 parts green tea (water steeped with tea bags OR diet green tea)
Cucumber wheel for garnish
Pour ingredients over ice. Garnish with a cucumber wheel.
