GUESS + Marciano Holiday 2013 Collections

For their Holiday 2013 Collections, GUESS and Marciano offers looks that give you sexy without question in some of this season’s hottest trends – Moto, Black & white and faux fur with multi-wash denim playing a dominant role in the GUESS collection. Both lines had so many great looks that it was quite difficult to select what to highlight.

GUESS Holiday 2013

For GUESS we see lots of retro ’90s style, worn-in vintage and reverse denim contrast details, biker-inspired Moto details, black and white striped and color-blocked patterns are seen in everything from bottoms, dresses and tops. Of course things weren’t all black and white as we saw pops of bold reds, vibrant patterns and casual military details.

MARCIANO Holiday 2013

Marciano was all about chic holiday glam. LBDs boasted embellishment such as flapper-era fringe, mesh panels, cutouts, mixed fabrications and uber-flattering body grazing silhouettes. The collection also featured both gold and tonal hardware details, bold patterns (dark florals, rich paisley and jacquard prints), and like GUESS, lots of black and white, touches of deep, rich reds as well as nude linings and metallic details.

Whether you want to make a subtle or bold statement this holiday season, looking for a bit of old Hollywood glam or maybe a look with some modern sensuality, GUESS and Marciano has what you’re looking for.

Charlotte Russe & Eric Daman Collection Launch Event

If you’re a fan of Gossip Girl, then you know who Eric Daman is and if you don’t know – shame on you. Eric Daman is the fabulous wardrobe stylist for Gossip Girl and this event was to celebrate his collaboration with Charlotte Russe to create a collection of party dresses which retail for $50 and under (from $39.50 to $49.50 to be exact). The collection was filled with ultra fun, flirty styles and vibrant colors and is available now at Charlotte Russe and My favorite? The Charcoal Embellished Neck Dress which goes for a measly $34.50

We (fellow bloggers and I) arrived pretty late from another event and we walked in to be these vibrant pieces above. We walked into the dimly lit Rdv to find various shades of pink roses, glitter, baubles everywhere – in large cosmo glasses, hanging from the ceiling, etc. and shoes and accessories everywhere – used as flower vases, lined up like boutique displays, etc – it was beautiful

But that wasn’t the best part – it turns out there was a accessory bar and shoe closet for guests to shop. After I came to from fainting, I went hunting, as I said I arrived late so I missed quite a lot but luckily most of the shoes were sample size 9 – MY SIZE!!! The heavens opened, angels sang, birds chirped….and I fainted again. At first I only took 2 pairs but then I noticed people walking around with three and four bags….so needless to say, my two pairs were increased. I also heard one person left with nine bags…um…WOW!!

To add the cherry on top of this wonderful sundae, I found out I did make it I time to see Eric Daman who graciously and sweetly took some time out for not one but two photos with Lifestyle Guru Derek Warburton

And I must give kudos to Charlotte Russe for the collaboration poster which headline reads “Meet Our BFF..”
