Walter Mendez

We loved the sexy yet chic looks from Walter Mendez. The small but notable color-blocking brought both a sporty feel and sophisticated appeal to his mostly body-con looks, a collection we can only describe as chic coquettish.

Michael Costello

The Project Runway Season 8 and Project Runway All-Star Season 1 finalist debuted a capsule collection created exclusively for WantMyLook featuring sleek and chic dresses that celebrate the body. Ladies, if you’re looking to own pieces from the man who has dressed Beyonce without breaking the bank, now is your chance.

Lilly Ghalichi

Showing that she’s more than just a swimsuit designer, Lilly Ghalichi, brought the sensuality of her swimwear line to her womenswear collection, although she didn’t stray too far away from showing off skin. Her vampy collection shows off all the curves in the right way.

FTL MODA & Style360 Spring 2015 Womens Collections

At the Spring 2015 shows at Style360 during New York fashion Week, four designers graced the runway for the FTL MODA and Style360 Spring 2015 Collections Show. Three womenswear designers, Kami Shade’, Jaime Elyse, and Gianni Tolentino, as well as one menswear designer, Fri:Haend, showcased their looks to the captivated fashion week crowd. Today we concentrate on the Women’s collections.

Kami Shade’

We were enraptured by the sparkly looks from the Kami Shade’ Spring 2015 collection, especially the adorable black overalls and the white tuxedo stripe pants. Kami brings an edgy twist and modern flair to these classic silhouettes, bringing freshness and excitement to her looks .We love her use light and multicolored sequins for spring, but as she’s used to dressing celebrities an keeping her clients looking chic and on trend, we’re not surprised that we love most of her spring looks.

Jaime Elyse

Perfect for those getting married next year. If you’re in the market for a stunning contemporary wedding dress, you must acquaint yourself with Jaime Elyse. Her Spring 2015 collection provides extraordinary styles for the average bride. Her collection featured wedding dresses with rich textures, intricate details, unique embellishments on the bodices, and layered skirts. One of our favorite looks was the ballgown dress that transformed into a chic reception dress.

Gianni Tolentino

Making his debut at NYFW last season, Italian designer, Gianni Tolentino returns this season to present an edgy yet sophisticated spring 2015 collection that celebrates skin. The  satin heavy collection featured looks with strategically placed sheer panels and overlays, adding elegant seduction to the looks.

Just Dance with Boy Meets Girl Spring 2014 Collection Show

Boy Meets Girl® returned to STYLE360 New York Fashion Week on September 12th to premiere the “Just Dance with Boy Meets Girl” Spring/Summer 2014 Collection. The Spring/Summer 2014 collection featured the latest in technology-inspired fashion and pop culture. Each look was inspired by the best-selling video game.

Bringing the virtual dance floor to the runway, the spirited fashion show opened with teen heartthrob Austin Mahone as he performed his hit single, What About Love. His smooth dance moves and charming smile captured the hearts of every guest in the room.

EMU Australia Fall 2012 Collection

I was so sad to miss last season’s EMU Australia show at Style360 but I made sure I was available this time to catch the EMU Australia Fall 2012 Collection show, again held at the Metropolitan Pavilion as part of the Style360 Shows. The Fall 2012 collection, inspired by the natural elements of Australian and Nordic fur trends, featured an almost all neutral color palette, earth tones such as mushroom, chocolate, toffee, red earth, clay, hedge green and boysenberry.

The collection exhibits EMU’s unmistakable ties to the Australian environment with looks featuring meticulous outerwear including a double-faced sheepskin coat with a vintage Nappa finish, snow tipped long hair sheepskin vests and jackets, tailored merino wool pieces, and cozy cardigans and sweaters.
For footwear, the focus was on sheepskin and Nappa leather styles. The comfy shoes (whose styles I like so much better than their competition) are 100% super soft waterproof Australian Sheepskin that is thicker which gives their boots more structure. They feature anatomically correct sheepskin lined insoles, a tough rubber outsole, and molded heel cups. The fashionable boots featured textured leathers, stunning trims, and metal embellishments. My favorite styles were, of course, the leathers, particularly the cool Leeville Boot in Mushroom (below left) and the Sandon Boot in chocolate (below right) – both make great everyday boots. A non-leather favorite was the Miva Boot in mushroom (4th photo) – one glance will have you fall in love as well.

bebeBLACK Fall 2012 Collection

For bebeBlack, the seduction of the cinematic 1940’s and 1950’s film noir was the inspiration for their Fall 2012 Dark Angel collection at Style360. Class film noir silhouettes such as fitted pencil skirts and dresses, exaggerated shoulders with nipped waists, tailored shapes, corset seaming, capelet-topped trenches (my favorite look), sheer blouses, etc were given futuristic touches.

The romance of the film noir was ever present in the fabrics – georgette, velvet, lamé, jacquard, wool crepe, tartan and tweed in colors that capture the strange, dream-like, erotic and ambivalent mood of the genre.

Key colors included the following two deep tones – rouge noir (a deep crimson), and reel teal (rich green-blue) but the collection also featured lots of colored plaid.

bebe Kardashians Fall 2010 Show

During New York Fashion Week, Kim Kardashian hosted the showcase of the collaboration between bebe and the Kardashians at Style360’s offsite shows and presentations. I didn’t know what to expect but I was very curious about what the collection. I know Kim Kardashian was once a “stylist” for Brandy and Ray J’s mom but…..

Anyway, after receiving the invitation and accepting (with back and forth communication with the PR Agency), I arrived to find that I wasn’t on the list (really?) but I was let in anyway (I almost had to pull out the emails on my blackberry). The show was supposed to start at 10am but started about 45-50 min later (they were waiting for Kim); when the light came on, here is is what we saw

To me the short, fitted dresses reminded me of what bebe already does, I’m not sure what Kim brought to the table (I guess her wardrobe is mostly what you see above) but there is some controversy regarding her apparent knockoff of a dress from Fendi’s 2009 collection (the first photo above and a garment she actually wore to the fashion show)

But it seems that’s not the only thing she has knocked off – A Houston based jewelry company, called Korcula, is suing her for knocking off their necklace design to use for her fragrance. Anyway, please see video of the show’s finale below, unlike most designers, Kim was sitting in the audience and just stood up and waved to the crowd instead of walking out at the show’s end.
