As New York’s beauty scene heats up for another wave of culture-shifting events, one experience continues to dominate the conversation as both a marketplace and a movement. HUE Affair NYC 2026 returns this spring for its 10th anniversary, bringing together the hottest Black-owned beauty, haircare, wellness, and lifestyle brands for a high-energy celebration fueled by culture, community, commerce, and unapologetic Black excellence. We absolutely enjoyed last year’s event.

Founded in 2016, HUE, short for Hair Unites Everyone, was created with a clear purpose: to uplift Black beauty entrepreneurs and build authentic connections among brands, retailers, and consumers within the textured-hair community. Over the last decade, the platform has grown into one of the most influential spaces spotlighting Black beauty innovation and entrepreneurship. In 2026, HUE Affair proudly celebrates 10 years of impact in the billion-dollar Black haircare industry, continuing its mission to amplify Black voices and create direct access for consumers to the brands they love.

This year’s HUE Affair NYC 10th Anniversary Marketplace promises to be its biggest celebration yet. The annual one-day interactive shopping experience will welcome up to 1,000 attendees for an immersive day of beauty discovery, wellness experiences, and cultural connection. Guests can shop more than 60 curated emerging and established brands across beauty, lifestyle, and wellness categories, including Ashunta Sheriff Beauty, Bask & Lather, Black Girl Vitamins, and Pattern Beauty.

More than just a shopping event, HUE Affair has become a celebration of Black beauty culture and entrepreneurship. Attendees can expect live beauty and wellness demonstrations, hands-on product activations, giveaways, music from a live DJ, and opportunities to connect directly with founders and industry insiders. The atmosphere blends the energy of a festival with the intimacy of a community gathering, creating a space where consumers can discover new favorites while supporting Black-owned businesses in a meaningful way.

The HUE Affair NYC 2026 event also reflects the growing influence of Black consumers in the global beauty industry. Black-owned beauty brands continue to shape trends, redefine standards, and create products specifically designed for underserved communities. HUE Affair provides a platform where those innovators can be seen, supported, and celebrated all under one roof.

The HUE Affair NYC 10th Anniversary Marketplace takes place on Saturday, May 30, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Metropolitan Pavilion. General Admission tickets are $25.00 and include a gift bag for the first 200 attendees, while VIP tickets are $50.00 and include express check-in and a gift bag.
