As promised, we continue National Rum Month with more exquisite rum cocktails. Our rum-filled month rolls on with more sweet rum varieties and rum-infused, ready-to-enjoy canned cocktails. We’re ready to refresh our summer with some must-have libations from Cutwater Spirits and Zaya Rum. Summer Refresh with Delicious Rum Recipes During National Rum Month

Are you ready to enjoy the flavors of the tropics? Today we’re sharing some amazing delicious rum recipes made with Zaya Gran Reserva Rum and Cutwater Bali Hai Tiki Gold Rum. If you’re looking for fruity, creamy, or rich dark rum cocktails, right here is where you need to be. Let’s get into some rum mixology.

Zaya Sip & Sail

1 oz. Zaya Rum
1/2 oz. White Rum
3/4 oz. Lime Juice
2 Blackberries
1-2 Raspberries
1/2 oz. Allspice Dram
1/4 oz. Simple Syrup (2:1)
1 Egg White
Ice (for shaking)
In a cocktail shaker, add berries & muddle. Add all other ingredients to the shaker. Dry shake vigorously with no ice. Add ice & shake well again. Double strain into a coupe (using both a Hawthrone & fine mesh strainer). Dust with cinnamon. Garnish with a raspberry and a blackberry on a cocktail pick & torched lime round.

Zaya Mojito

Zaya Rum Mojito

4 to 5 Mint Leaves
1/2 oz. Simple Syrup (2:1)
3/4 oz. Lime Juice
1 1/2 oz. Zaya Rum
Soda water
Cubed ice
Add mint leaves to a Collins glass. Add lime juice & a dash of soda water. Gently muddle for several seconds. Add simple syrup, rum & ice. Top with soda water & give it a gentle stir. Garnish with a sprig of mint and lime.

Zaya Mai Tai

Zaya Rum Mai Tai

1 oz. Zaya Rum
1/2 oz. White Rum
1/2 oz. Overproof Rum
1 oz. Lime Juice
3/4 oz. Orange Curacao (or Triple Sec)
3/4 oz. Orgeat
2-3 Dashes Angostura Bitters
Splash Pineapple Juice (optional)
Ice (for shaking)
Crushed Ice (for serving)
Combine all ingredients except the Zaya rum in a cocktail shaker. Shake well with ice. Strain into your Tiki glass. Fill with crushed ice. Add a float of Zaya rum on top. Garnish with a mint sprig, lime, and an umbrella.

Zaya Painless Punch

Zaya Rum Painless Punch cocktail

2 oz. Zaya Gran Reserva
2 oz. Pineapple Juice
1 oz. Orange Juice
1 oz. Cream of Coconut
Ice (for shaking)
Crushed Ice (for serving)
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake extremely well with ice. Strain into a Tiki glass. Fill with crushed ice. Garnish with a mint sprig, slice of pineapple, and metal straw. Sprinkle with a dash of cinnamon & ignite (if that’s your style).

The Bali Hai

The Bali Hai Rum Cocktail

2oz Bali Hai Tiki Gold Rum
3/4 oz Fresh Lime Juice
1/2oz Ginger Syrup
2oz Fresh Orange Juice
Angostura Bitters
Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Strain over ice in a tall glass, then garnish with a lime wheel. Add a straw and finish with 6 dashes of Angostura Bitters.

Dark N’ Stormy

Bali Hai Tiki Gold Rum Dark n Stormy Cocktail

2oz Bali Hai Tiki Dark Rum
.5oz fresh lime juice
Cutwater ginger beer
Add rum and lime juice to a tall glass with ice. Top with ginger beer, garnish with a lime wheel.

Light After Dark

Bali Hai Tiki Gold Rum Light After Dark cocktail

2oz Bali Hai Tiki Dark Rum
1oz lime juice
.75oz orange juice
.75oz pineapple juice
.5oz vanilla syrup
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Shake until cold and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange slice.
