Kind Bars Kicks Off #giveKINDatryNYC Campaign w/ Protein Bars

Against the backdrop of one of the most luxurious views in the city, we had the opportunity to celebrate Kind Bars. Along with welcoming their new delicious protein bars, we helped kick off the #giveKINDatryNYC Campaign with TechStyle NYC. With the help of some amazing brands that promote wellness, we were ready to kick off this city-wide campaign. And what better place than the stunning penthouse apartments of One Vandam in downtown NYC to celebrate the kick-off.

The Kind Protein From Real Food bars delivers 12 grams of protein and is made from real food. Not only do they taste delicious, but they also deliver protein from premium, whole ingredients; so you don’t have to choose between health and taste. The gluten-free, kosher bars boast a creamy, crunchy texture that packs a lot of nutrition. All the event’s participating brands are a must for anyone looking to have a better-balanced lifestyle, both physically and mentally. We think we’ve found ourselves a new favorite healthy and delicious beverage in Nini Bissap. After getting better acquainted with the new Kind protein bars, we ventured upstairs to the penthouse apartment’s spectacular rooftop deck to enjoy the city views. A beautiful sunset, spectacular views, and refreshing Deep Eddy Vodka cocktails were the perfect way to celebrate the #giveKINDatryNYC campaign.

You’re Invited to Experience TechStyle NYC During NYFW

Hello fellow fashion lovers, ever wish you could participate in at least once new york fashion week event? Thanks to TechStyle NYC, you can. TechStyle NYC opens its doors to an all-day, influencer, media, and select guests-only event, on September 12th, a perfect event to help close out NYFW. This amazing brand showcase promises 3D printed garments, fashion forward apps, and new ways to accessorize your favorite wearables.

Located in a fashion-week friendly venue set suitably between Skylight Clarkson Square and Milk Studios, several very cool brands will highlight their goods and services at TechStyle NYC under the theme of sustainability.  Attendees will be enlightened to the likes of such innovative brands as Venia Collection, a contemporary design studio leveraging advancements in Virtual Reality and 3D Printing. They are the go-to for popularizing the possibilities of creating clothing using only 100% sustainable fibers to curate the best possible product for you and the environment. Guests are encouraged to interact with featured brands at the event, and via social media platforms. There will be plenty of activities to Instagram, Tweet, and Snapchat about.

Now in its 7th year, TechStyle NYC has always celebrated the New, Now and Next in the fashion, beauty, tech, and lifestyle industries. With tech fully immersing itself into the fashion realm, TechStyle NYC event is a must to attend, especially if you love innovation.

TechStyle Lounge NYC Returns Bigger and Better for NYFW

We had a wonderful time at last season’s TechStyle Lounge NYC, discovering amazing new brands, getting acquainted with old favorites, and getting a much needed break from the craziness of NYFW. This year, TechStyle Lounge NYC promises to be bigger, and better, offering more in beauty, fashion and tech.

What can this season’s attendees expect? A high-energy workout session given by Dr. Oz’s own personal trainer, Joel Harper, the opportunity to get glammed up (complimentary makeup touch-ups, a braid bar, a nail bar, and massages) with Reddera, a newly launched, on-demand beauty app, low-guilt cocktails inspired by the “dating appetites.” of guests presented with Elena Murzello, author of The Love List, from Arizona and Skinnygirl Sparklers, wines and a Fashion Confessional booth from Blue Nun Wines, and for those who are not drinking, the refreshing and replenishing, natural olakino water from Koa. TechStyle guests will be indulging in new flavor, Koa Raspberry, which launches in NYC later this month.

At TechStyle, guests will also partake in the shoppable selfie stages by Stylinity, an innovative new platform that turns selfies into retail opportunities. Attendees will be able to get glammed up, pose for a pic and share their looks on social media, enabling their followers to shop the looks, while the selfie takers rack up reward points. This has been a very chilly fashion week, and it’s taking a lot of keep warm, Peter Williams, the designer behind Shaman Furs and part of the Yup’ik Eskimo tribe, will be on hand to present his sustainable furs and a fascinating discussion on his tribe’s the spiritual relationship with marine animals, and last but certainly not least, getting around fashion week can be trying, so GoGreenRide will be offering complimentary rides to and from the experience for invited guests.

The Ultimate Fashion Week Retreat: TechStyle Lounge NYC

we love attending Fashion week Lounges because it gives us a chance to not only relax but to also dedicate time to getting to know some very cool brands. During a break in shows, we escaped to Bumble and bumble’s Downtown NYC salon, not for a hair appointment, but to indulge in a little relaxation time at the TechStyle Lounge. Thanks to this amazing lounge, we got the chance to renew our energy with products from Maple Water, Onli Beverages, Mamak Restaurant, Jala Greek Frozen Yogurt Bars, and several more. It was the perfect way to slow down during the hectic week.

Because of the hectic nature of New York fashion Week, there’s hardly anytime to enjoy a meal, so we were beyond ecstatic to be greeted with the delicious treats from SexyPop Popcorn, Jala Greek Frozen Yogurt Bars (delicious low calorie bars we later realized we first enjoyed at a Step Up Event with DSW in 2009), Brooklyn Dark Orange Silk Chocolate, and some scrumptious Malaysian food from Mamak Restaurant. After indulging in the above edibles, we made our way to PINCHme.

If you love free samples (which sometimes come in full sizes), then you’ll love PINCHme. Based on a first come, first serve basis, this unique sample experience is a must if you love being the first among your friends to try new products. Just sign up to start receiving samples, share your opinion after you receive your samples and enjoy. From there on, we stopped by Auster and their stunning bags, whose clutched reminded us of beautiful fans.

It should come as no surprise that Auster Bags works directly with Argentine designers and artisans to create the beautiful handmade and hand-painted bags you see above. The event offered a chance to win one but sadly we were not so lucky. It was a very short trip from Auster to Flickable, the one-of-a-kind lip gloss shaped like a lollipop.

This adorable lollipop-shaped gloss comes in a variety of colors, boasts a natural tingly sensation, glides on smoothly, and bold color pigments that lasts. Make your lips more than kissable, make them Flickable. As stated at the beginning, there was lots to sate our appetites, and the same goes for quenching our thirst.

Thanks to the previously mentioned Maple Water (a refreshing beverage made from the sap that comes straight from maple trees), Onli Beverages (premium, chef-inspired sparkling flavored water), and low calorie Skinnygirl Cocktails, we were left refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to tackle our remaining hectic fashion week schedule. We didn’t have to actually leave the lounge to continue our fashion previews, our next visit was to Snowman New York, a luxurious collection of down outerwear for women.

We couldn’t help but fall in love with the silhouettes because they actually accentuate the female body unlike typical down jackets and coats. The styles boasts corseted details, and tapered waistlines which result in sophisticated style without the bulk. We’re in love. From Snowman, we moved on to get a much needed manicure from Diosa Nail Polish.

Created by New York native Diana Long (pictured above in Navy) with a commitment to empower and inspire young women, Diosa Nail Polish, Spanish for “Goddess”, features quality, non-toxic nail polish that encourage women to not be bland with their style. Our last stop was at Measurable Difference/Chrislie Formulations, which offered a vast array of beauty products for face and body.

From eyelash and eyebrow amping and growing products, to beauty devices, to skin firming products, we were in beauty heaven. Limp lashes don’t stand a chance with the eye products they offer, and get ready for your skin to glow, thanks to their innovative skincare products. We loved every minute of this lounge and we hope they have it again next season.
